Condition:

Very Good, there are a few watermarks on the silk ties, see photos and at some stage the kimono has been shortened with a tuck in the middle, the foldlines can still be seen.

Description:

This is a lovely boy's miyamairi (similar in the West to a christening robe). There are 5 Mon present, Sasarindo Mon ( Gentian). The design is dyed and has touches of sumi style painting and there are also embroidered highlights in gold, silver and red. The inner upper lining is white silk. Wonderful to collect or display!
