Condition:

Very good, there is perhaps a slight patina on the white areas, there is a faint stain on the back inner lining, see photo, there is a patina of age on the upper white, inner lining probably due to the gold used on the outer decoration.

Description:

This is a fabulous furisode in rinzu silk, the design is dynamic, in maroon and white, with water as the theme. Delicate lacquer boxes are yuzen dyed and highlighted with gold and silver couching. The inner lower hem is also rinzu silk (a sign of quality) with bokashi (dip dyed edges) and the upper lining is white smooth silk. What an interior design statement!
