Condition:

Very good, there are a few flaws but these are hardly noticable, a faint mark middle back and right shoulder, see photos, in a few places small silver pieces have come off, leaving the sizing agent showing, see photos, again hardly noticable.

Description:

This is a gloriously feminine furisode, in powder blue, rinzu silk (damask) with a wave pattern. Grey blue shibori clouds float on the textile, there are highlights of gold couching on the peacock and flowers and the florals are sooo delicate! The inner lower lining is white silk with a bokashi (dip dyed) edge in very pale grey blue. The upper lining is plain white silk. A really fabulous display item but also very wearable.
