Condition:

Excellent apart from slight bleeding of dye from the design.

Description:

This is a lovely dark blue kimono, in heavyweight chirimen silk. The decoration is bingata technique, cranes/bamboo/cherry. Unfortunately during the dyeing process there has been some bleeding of some colours but this is not as prominent as the photographs suggest. The lower lining is orange smooth silk and the upper cream silk. Still a very good display or collectors item.
