Condition:

Very good, very slight discolouration of black but really not noticable and can still be worn, otherwise excellent especially for age.

Description:

This is a rare kurtomesode, in summer (ro) silk, there are 5 Paulownia Mon present, these have been fixed over existing mon at sometime in the past. The kimono is a high quality item, unusual for summer kimono the bottom of the kimono is lined with ro silk and the design is on the inside aswell as the outside. The design is rare, swallows flying over the waves, techniques are yuzen, sumi and handpainted swallows, with highlights of fine embroidery on swallows. Wonderful collectors item, can also be worn or displayed!
