Condition:

Excellent except for white smudges on the collar (see photo) but when collar is folded for wear these will be hardly noticeable.

Description:

This is a lovely kurotomesode with 5 paulownia Mon. The fabric is synthetic but of high quality and because this is a larger size than most kimono, it was probably made to order. The design at the hem is of edo nobles going to enjoy the country, it is artisticly done and has fine embroidery highlights, also it is signed by the artist. The inner lining is also synthetic and the kimono has collar and extra lower lining added (this makes it quite heavy for posting. The size should fit UK size 16-18 and height 5ft 10inches~6feet (but can be shortened in the japanese way around the waist.
