Condition:

Very Good, there is slight discolouration, this does not detract, infact adds to its charm, there are a few black dye marks from original yuzen dyeing and weaving is a little uneven in a band right mid back.

Description:

This is a lovely tomesode in black silk crepe, with 5 Mon, Nadeshiko (Carnation) Mon. The design is mirror image and traditional but with a dramatic flair, it continues inside the lower hem. The upper inner lining is red smooth silk. Colours are slightly muted with age but this adds to it's charm, a wonderful display item and of course one for the collector!
