Inner lower lining has light patina over the whole, the upper red lining has light watermarks on the back and two small holes (could be cuts?)
Description:
This is a lovely kimono, in blue rinzu silk (with cloud self pattern). There is one Mon present centre back, at the neck. The hem design is mists/ wisteria and pines, very delicate yuzen with fine embroidered highlights. The lower inner lining is contrasting fawn silk crepe and the upper smooth red smooth silk, fashionable in the Taisho Era. Wonderful collectors item!
