Length of sleeve 26 1/2 inches ( 67 cms )

Condition:

Very Good, the black colour is good but along some of the seam lines, back near the crest and inner edges of the sleeves there are some small brown marks, see photos, these are caused when the kimono is stored. There are two watermarks in the design at the front again see photos but for a kimono of this age the condition is very good.

Description:

This is a lovely tomesode in black silk crepe, there are 5 Mon present Tsuta Mon, Ivy. The design is yuzen dyed with dramatic fan and kicho design and it continues inside the lower hem. The upper inner lining is red raw silk. Wonderful to collect wear or display!
