Condition:

Very good, outer has the smallest of marks on the edge of the right sleeve and a pin hole 1/4 inches in from edge of the left sleeve (see photos), there are a a few slight marks on the lower lining (see Photo).

Description:

This is a fabulous furisode from the Taisho era, the colour is very rare, mustard yellow, blues and purples were very popular then. The yuzen dyeing is lovely of maple/peony/chrysanthemum/paulownia and there are highlights of sagara and embroidery, also gold couching. The lower inner lining is yellow and the upper red typical of the period. Definitely a collectors piece!
