Description:

This is a rare, fantastic uchikake or wedding kimono in black shusu silk. The dynamic design of phoenix on paulownia branch and cranes flying over the waves, is heavily embroidered and gives a very dramatic effect. The inner lining is orange smooth silk associated with the older uchikake. What a stunning interior design statement! also great collectors item or to wear for theatre production.
