Condition:

Very Good, the yukata has probably only been worn once or is perhaps unused and faults have occured through storage. There is a stain on upper shoulder lining (see photo). There are two smal holes near right side seam and two 3 inches from the bottom hem (see photo) right lower back and a couple of light stains not really noticable and would not show on photos. If it is necessary the kimono be worn, these faults would not detract.

Description:

This is a wonderful example of Katazome dyed, cotton yukata. For the katazome stencil collector, it gives a real insight into what can be achieved. This is a fabulous design of swallows, waves and willow, all representations of the summer season, and so cool! The shoulder and bottom linings are indigo dyed. A marvelous collectors piece and a good display item!
