This is a very rare kurotomesode in black silk crepe with Bush Warbler and Plum Blossom design at the hem. The design 'Ume ni Uguisu' in Japanese, is the celebration of a hint of spring and the warbler blessing the ancient plum tree for it's further year of aged beauty. This design is steeped in Zen aesthetics. It continues inside the lower hem and is hand yuzen with embroidered highlights. The upper lining is red raw silk. There are 5 Mon present the Cho (butterfly) Mon. Quality collector's item!
