Condition:

Excellent for the age, there is some discolouration of paint on the cranes and a light mark on left loer front, see photos.

Description:

This is a lovely kurotomesode in heavy weight chirimen silk. There are 5 Tsuta Mon present. The design is exquisite, large hand painted cranes and pines. The red cap of the cranes are embroidered with sagara stitch and the hem is padded. The design continues inside the lower hem and the upper lining is cream raw silk. wonderful collector's piece!
