Very good, he is quite old so does have some nibbles, the sake pouring down the rock, his nose and hand but these flaws don't detract from a very cheeky character.
This is a quirky, cheeky, tanuki or Japanese racoon, so well known in the Shigaraki pottery area. Tanuki are suppose to bring commercial prosperity, so large ones are often seen outside of shops and restaurants in Japanese. This one is sitting on a rock with his flask of sake and a wonderful expression on his face. There is a hole through is right hand and this was probably holding a wooden staff at one stage (could be replaced). He is a lovely collector's item and may bring you luck!
